Layered in paint, rooted in spirit

I am a contemporary artist driven by a lifelong fascination with the spiritual, the symbolic, and the ancient.

A woman with shoulder-length dark brown hair, wearing a pearl necklace, pearl earrings, a gray shawl with black fur trim over a black top, standing with arms crossed against a beige textured background.

Trained in fine arts, my practice sits at the intersection of research and painterly instinct. My subjects are chosen with intention. I draw from ancient cosmologies, sacred geometry, and spiritual traditions across cultures and time, engaging deeply with their history and meaning long before they take visual form.

My works are mixed media on canvas, developed through layered surfaces of oil and acrylic. Each piece evolves slowly, building a depth that rewards close and considered looking.

My creative journey spans multiple disciplines, including visual art and music. Alongside painting, I studied and played the sitar, an experience that shaped my sensitivity to rhythm, form, and the space between elements. This awareness continues to inform my practice today.

In every work, there is a point where structure gives way to instinct, where colour, symbolism, and memory converge into something that cannot be fully planned, only arrived at. That moment defines my practice.

I am based in the UK and work with an international collector base. I undertake a limited number of bespoke commissions for collectors seeking works created around a specific intention, space, or subject.

These paintings are created for spaces and collectors who value meaning as much as beauty.
